In order for your website to be found on the Internet it needs to have a home on a computer that is connected to the Internet. These computers are known as hosts or name servers. You may have these special computers in your organisation, or you may need to arrange to get access to such a computer with an Internet Service Provider or Web hosting company.

Yes. You get from 2 to 5 email accounts depending on the website option you select for your business, eg yourname@webcruzer.com. You can use your own webcruzer.com email accounts to communicate with friends, customers, colleagues, and suppliers quickly and easily. All email accounts have a 50 megabyte storage capacity. You can increase your storage capacity and / or get additional email accounts with your website.
All you need is a Web browser such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. There is no coding or programming necessary. Just point and click your mouse to make your selections.
Yes, we provide a facility for you to preview your personalized website before it goes live to the Internet. Each time you change your content you can preview your site to make sure you like what you see. And you can change your content after you have published it. Just go to the "Login" area on the homepage and log into your Control Panel (administration section).
It is up to you. You can quickly create a website in minutes, then update it later when you have time. We have taken a lot of time to do things for you but some of our customers take a few hours to select and input their own content and graphics. Most importantly, this can be done at your own convenience, and updated at your leisure.
If an error occurs on your website our technical team will automatically receive an email alerting them to the error. If this does occur it is likely that we will receive the email and have the problem fixed before you are aware an error has occurred. If you have a problem or a request please send us an email to technical@webcruzer.com. We promise to respond to your request within two business days.

Yes. You are able to upgrade from your Control Panel and keep the same Username / User ID and Password. To do this click on the "Upgrade (Website Name)" link under the "Account Control" heading.
That is OK. Just go to our home page, click on the "Login" then "Forgot your login?". Follow the simple instructions and we will give you the secret question you provided during the application procedure to help you remember your Password or we will email you your Username / User ID.
Our Diamond Website which incorporates the most sophisticated website features is only €160 per year. This website can contain unlimited number of products and / or services.
Webcruzer.com is an Application Service Provider (ASP). In simple terms this means that all of our product applications are on our server (or computer). This means that we can make something once, like our websites and sell them many times. In fact all of our applications are available in over 1400 cities worldwide.
Payment is made during the registration process. Upon completion of registration, your website is available for use immediatly. Website fees are for 12 months usage of your Webcruzer website. You will need to renew your payment every 12 months in order to keep your website active.
No! All the information that is stored in the online database is completely confidential and will not be sold.
All the data for your clients (like name, address, etc) and all their sales data (like number of visitors and sales per client) are stored on our database. It is backed up regularly to ensure the information is not lost.
Credit Card transactions are handled directly via the clearing bank and uses their high level security.
This section allows you to add, delete or change information regarding your company.
Once you have logged into your website Control Panel with your Username / User ID and Password go to "Website Administration" - "My Company" and change your "Company Name". Or on your Control Panel under the "Directory" heading click on the "Edit Company Details".
You are able to add as many delivery options as necessary, as long as these options are contained within one of the three main delivery methods.
Yes. You can update them from your Control Panel under the links "Website Administration" - "My Company" - "Financial Details" - "Payment Options" (for payment) or "Website Administration" - "My Company" - "Delivery Options" (for shipping).

Yes. Under the "Website Administration" - "My Company" - "Financial Details" links inside your Control Panel you will find a section titled "Tax Setup". Enter the tax rate and tax type to be included. If only certain items include the tax type indicated, it will be necessary to indicate this on the product information form inside the "Product Catalog" section.

"Content Pages" section has a combination of pages we have pre-built for you (eg Faq, Our Staff, Our Services etc) and your own custom pages that you design.

Content Pages Currently Linked - are those pages that are active and will appear in the menu links of your site.

Content Pages Currently Not Linked - is the combination of pre-built pages provided by us and the custom pages that you have designed. They are not active on the site and will not appear in the menu links until you add them by choosing "Add Link".
You can create for Business websites more than 20 content pages (for Personal website 10 pages) that will remain in your database. You decide which of them you want to be active on your website. You can link to your Business websites up to 12 pages (10 pages to Personal). They are created and linked to your website very easily by you from your website Control Panel that you have access to 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
You can add, edit or remove any content 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This is done by you from your Website Control Panel and any changes made are immediately published to the Internet. It has been designed to be a simple step by step procedure. To change the content of your pages go to the "Website Administration" - "Website Design". "Content Pages" section gives you full information about Content Pages Currently Linked and Content Pages Currently Not Linked. If you want to change the content of any page, click on the "Edit" icon and insert your own content.
Once you have logged into your website Control Panel with your Username / User ID and Password go to "Website Administration" - "Website Design" and on the top choose "Templates" button. This section will show you what your current template is and if you want to change your template choose from the options available.

Yes, the product catalogue can be turned on and off at anytime having no affect on your website. All products are saved so there is no need to worry about losing your work when you return later to reactivate it.
Enter your Control Panel using your Username / User ID and Password. Click on the "Website Administration" - "Product Catalog" - "Products" and go to the product you would like to place on special. On the Product Details form there is a section for Special Price. Add the new price in this section.
This is where all the details of your customers are kept. As customers shop in your website, their details are captured for your use. All details are stored in a file in a totally safe environment and can be accessed at any time. Manage your entire customer details from here.
Yes. You have all necessary details on all of your customers, including number of orders and number of visits.
A new shopper arrives at your website using the Internet address we provide you with, (eg http://www.webcruzer.com/myshop) or by using the address you already have (eg http://www.myshop.com.au). The shopper can enter directly into your site as a visitor or can register with their name and address and choose a username and password. This information is automatically stored in your database. You can deal with the new orders, incomplete orders, delivered orders.
Yes. All old orders are stored in your database.
As customers shop in your website, their details are captured for your use. All email addresses are stored in a file and can be accessed at any time. For your convenience for our Diamond Website we have built in a mail merge facility that allows you to email all or selected customers all at once a message which is personalised to each customer. This is a very powerful tool allowing you to cost effectively communicate with your client base.
Inside the mail merge facility you have the ability to select certain fields of information to include in your message. For example "First Name" and "Last Name". You choose who you want to send an email to and then place the field you want to use in your message such as: "Hello [First Name][Last Name]", and our software merges your database of clients with your message to personalise what you are saying to each client. It is a very simple process.

After the priority positions in any category and location are taken, there is no further opportunity to purchase a priority listing in that category and location at that time. You can choose another category and/or location otherwise your listing will appear alphabetically after the priority listings, and you will be charged like for the Line Listing (City Line Listing is FREE).
If a user does a global search your listing will always appear in alphabetical order with other listings globally. You can only purchase a priority top position by city, state, or country and only searches by city, state or country will show your priority listing within the top results.
At the home page of http://www.webcruzer.com choose "Directory". "Quick Search" section will give you an option to search for a company name.
Once you have taken a webcruzer.com website, you can register (at no charge) as an Affiliate and earn commissions.
No. You may be an individual who would like to promote the webcruzer.com solution to other businesses, individuals or companies and earn ongoing commissions. In this case as an individual you could take out a Personal Website for yourself and refer interested people in the business to your website.
At the time you take out a website with webcruzer.com and register as an Affiliate, we automatically place on your website a link called "Click here to get your own website" which links to a page listing all of the websites offered by webcruzer.com. Also the same link will be placed on your directory listing in case you have a Diamond website because free Line Listing in the City is included with this website (see "How It Looks"). When you send people to your website or listing and they click on that link, they will be taken to the webcruzer.com online application form where they too can get a website and register their company, business or themselves in the category listing of their choice. They can then become an Affiliate and earn ongoing residual income along with you.
No. People you talk to may come through the webcruzer.com home page, click on "Business Websites" or "Personal Websites" and register online. In order to receive your commission you would need to give them your Affiliate Reference ID Number as the referring Affiliate (this number is issued at the time of your registration as an Affiliate). The person would then place your Affiliate Reference ID Number in the appropriate box on the registration application form. Our registration system would then recognize this person as being referred by you and pay the appropriate commission.
The link on your page and your Affiliate Reference ID Number is tracked through our software identifying your link or your Affiliate Reference ID Number as the referring Affiliate and crediting you for the sale.
Payment will only begin 3 months after clients established via your link pay or renew their website.
YES. All webcruzer.com Affiliates select a Username / User ID and Password, enabling them to edit their details and website with the online tools provided by us (at NO additional charge).
YES. You can access the genealogy report through the webcruzer.com Home Page by clicking on "Login" and entering your Username / User ID and Password. You will then be given a choice of links, one of which is the Genealogy Report under the Heading of Affiliate Program. This report will give details of your own lineage of sales.
No, you will only receive commissions if you have also renewed and paid for your website. You will loose all commission entitlements if your website is not renewed and paid for by the due date.
